BowlSafe tracks bowling workloads against official cricket governing body guidelines — alerting coaches before injury happens, not after.
Fast bowling places forces of 3× bodyweight through the lumbar spine every delivery. Young bowlers haven't built the bone density to absorb it. The result is a preventable epidemic of stress fractures that ends careers before they begin.
Every feature exists because a coach, player, or sports doctor needed it — not because a product manager thought it sounded good.
Real screens from BowlSafe — player home, coach squad view, and instant alert notifications.
BowlSafe is the only app with official CA, ECB, and NZC fast bowling guidelines built in — and an adoption framework for every other cricket nation.
No official junior fast bowling guidelines exist yet for these countries. BowlSafe lets players and coaches voluntarily adopt CA or ECB guidelines as a reference framework — with a clear disclaimer. ACWR tracking works for every country regardless.
From self-tracking players to high performance academies. No hidden fees.
I built BowlSafe after seeing how many junior fast bowlers get sidelined by injuries that proper load tracking could have flagged weeks earlier. A kid bowling for school on Tuesday and club on Saturday has two separate coaches each seeing half the picture — neither one knows the real weekly load until it's already too high. You shouldn't need a sports science degree to catch that. The guidelines already exist, they just weren't built into anything a player, coach, or club could log in five seconds.
We're working with coaches, players, and clubs to refine it before wider rollout. Want to be one of them?
